The Arai GP6 RC Helmet FIA 8860:2010 Snell SAH2010 is the latest Arai F1 Helmet, it was developed to meet the FIA 8860:2010 standard which is obligatory in several national and international car racing disciplines. Constructed of Carbon Fiber.

ARAI UPDATE: The GP6 RC is available with a SNELL SAH2100 certification and a FIA 8860-2010 standard, it is supplied with factory installed M6 threaded inserts for the hans posts, comes with Arai hans posts installed.

Arai GP6 RC Helmet SAH2010
The state of the art Arai GP6 RC helmet is a stunning example of Arai's vision and technology made into a real world piece of equipment. Made from a proprietary weave of Carbon Fiber the GP6 RC helmet combines the existing light weight and and high strength benefits of Carbon Fiber with the added benefit of flexibility which standard CF does not possess. The flexibility of the GP6 RC shell allows the helmet to flex on impact and not splinter or shatter like standard CF is known to do. This is what gives Arai the ability to produce a helmet ready for the demands and requirements of Formula 1 Racing yet would still be fitting in an art gallery. The GP6 RC helmet meets and exceed Snell and FIA 8860:2010 standards and everyone is built to order. For several national and international car racing disciplines the use of FIA 8860:2010 homologated helmets will be required this year.

â€¢New shield pivot hardware with redesigned track slider for improved aerodynamics.

â€¢Wider eye port for increased peripheral vision
â€¢New positive shield locking mechanism provides solid shield latching while allowing normal operation.
â€¢Factory installed M6 threaded inserts for HANS post with Arai hans posts, newly integrated seats for HANS posts provide a flat surface for the anchor to sit flush around its entire perimeter.
â€¢Proprietary Carbon Fiber weave provides strong yet flexible shell allowing improved performance while keeping weight and size to a minimum.

â€¢Arai 6 Series 3mm thick visor (not interchangeable with GP-5)
â€¢Removable cheek pads for a custom fit (feature emergency release tabs for easy helmet removal in an accident)
â€¢Approval: FIA 8860:2010 and Snell SAH2010
â€¢Includes: 1 clear A/F visor (installed), 1 light tint A/F visor, 1 dual pane light tint visor, 1 screw pivot kit, 1 spare clear duct vent set and 2 sets of Arai factory tear offs.
